The Screenhacks are a collection of Windows screensavers. Many of these have been ported from the Linux/Unix xscreensaver package, to a Windows environment. They can be installed as standard Windows screensavers, and have many customisable options.

Screenhacks Archive
You can download most of the Screenhacks as a single archive. Screenhacks-Readme.txt lists which hacks are in this archive. This might not include the most up-to-date hacks, as I dont want to release a new version of Screenhacks every time a new Hack is released. Most of the Screenhacks have screenshots shown below.

Screenhacks Source Code
If you want source code for the Screenhacks, get it here. Visual C++ 6.0 is used to build them, but they should be portable to other Windows compilers.

If you just want one or two of the screenhacks without downloading the full archive, download the individual files here.

Greynetic
Greynetic paints random coloured squares over your screen.

Hypercube
This screensaver draws a 4 dimensional hypercube rotating in space. What's a 4d hypercube I hear you ask? Well, in a square (2d) each vertex is joined to its two nearest neighbours. In a cube (3d) each vertex is joined to its three nearest neighbours, and it's made up of 6 squares. A hypercube (4d) has each vertex joined to its nearest 4 neighbours, and it's made up of 6 cubes. Download it and see. If you think about it too hard, you'll give yourself a headache.

Moire
Moire draws some beautiful patterns on screen. The circles you see are not actually drawn by the screensaver, but are interference patterns from two sources, similar to ripples in a pond.
